He did not lie, Trump requested cooperation in investigating the Ukrainian interference in the election. That would be the same as asking to investigate Democrats. It was after all the Democrats tha Colluded with Foreign powers to overthrow the President.
Which by the way does fit the legal standard for treason if you throw in the calls for violence and the partisan violence on record.
Pelosi, Biden, Obama, Comey, Schiff, Nader are all legally liable for the death penalty, though figure 20 years hard labor is enough for Justice.
That and refunding the tax payers for the Muller Circus and for all the money laundering of tax kickbacks.
That “fine” could easily be paid by taking all the money their extended criminal families have made from government contracts and so forth. Although, I would prefer public hanging on the WDC Mall (after a speedy, fair trial and conviction, of course).

Given that Barr just punted Durham to next summer I believe you have your answer there. That there is apparently little sense of urgency in the Barr DOJ while a CIA backed coup rages in the executive branch is quite telling.
