Jersey City Board of Education Member Unloads on Jews Following Anti-Semitic Shooting

A Jersey City, N.J., elected official unloaded on Jewish members of the community following a shooting last week at a kosher market in the city committed by two African Americans.

The shooting left six dead, including a police officer and the two suspects.

Following the attack, Joan Terrell, a member of the Jersey City Board of Education, on Facebook accused Jewish community members of selling body parts and attacking the black community.

"Where was all this faith and hope when Black homeowners were threatened, intimidated, and harassed by I WANT TO BUY YOUR HOUSE brutes of the jewish community," Terrell wrote, according to a screenshot posted on Twitter.

Terrell accused Jewish leaders of forcing blacks out of their homes and of "selling body parts," an anti-Semitic canard long used to smear religious Jewish people.

Referring to the two assailants who committed the shooting, Terrell wrote "Mr. Anderson and Ms. Graham went directly to the kosher supermarket. I believe they knew they would come out in body bags. What is the message they were sending? Are we brave enough to explore the answer to their message? Are we brave enough to stop the assault on the Black communities of America?"

NJ is definitely declining, but I wouldn’t say it is “turning anti-Semitic”; while this attack targeted Jewish people, it is hardly representative of the state. We have plenty of Jewish residents and elected officials.

I was watching a British show, where they arrest people at airports that attempt to smuggle in drugs and other things.

Many of the drug mules are overweight, black women from Jamaica or Africa, and one from America. Overweight works in their favor, because it's easier to smuggle the drugs that way while wearing specially built clothes or bulky clothes that can hide the drugs.

They show them being booked and led into holding cells, and they have to take off their shoes. Also....wigs.

Every single one had a wig.

I tell you this: if my hair wasn't straight, then that's what my hair would be. I sure as hell wouldn't wear a wig for the rest of my life when out in public.

She is undoubtedly anti-semitic, and has much less to lose than a white politician by expressing it. Her community cannot stop the ultra orthodox influx by legal or political means - the ultra orthodox have every right to relocate and buy property.

The ultra orthodox have enough political influence that they won’t be investigated for discriminatory renting and selling and advertising. If you can deliver a near unanimous bloc of 70,000 votes in Ocean County, either for D or R, you get left alone on things like that.

Blacks have, or used to have, control of a lot of prime location real estate in NYC, Chicago, Miami, Oakland, LA, etc., because of high crime rates, violence and hostility to outsiders. It’s a working strategy but the ultra orthodox are going to win south Jersey City.

Granted we don’t have daily killings of Jewish people in this state

But we do have a very vocal “Adolf Club” that rails against Jews daily here, stirring up hate and prejudices. Even entire town governments are doing this. Antisemitism is a problem here, and it is under reported because NJ is a leftist blue state so it can’t exist in the eyes of the media.

What we have is tyranny of the majority (and the litigious) in some New Jersey towns. This board of education member sees the writing on the wall.

People are mistaken if they group the Haredim (ultra-orthodox) in with all American Jewish people. American Jewish people are a light unto the nations. The Haredim are a scourge.

The only difference between the Haredim and fundamentalist Muslims is the means they use to ethnically clease. The Jihadis use the sword; the Haredim use the courts. They both abuse welfare programs and out-reproduce the host community thus controlling the local politicians to their own benefit at the expense and on the dime of the hosts.

At least the Haredim won't kill you. They are smart enough to know not to kill the host. They want the taxpayers to keep funding their lifestyle (but move out of the areas they are colonizing.)

What's needed is to : (1) Repeal the federal RLUIPA (the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act) which gives the Haredim the power to bypass local zoning. (2) on the state level, repeal the law requiring towns to pay for private school busing. and (3) Remove the accredidation of "schools" like Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood that receives millions in federal funding but only teaches Torah or Talmud studies and nothing else. (4) Require primary and secondary schools to meet state educational standards in order to get any funds.

And lastly, people being subjected to Haredim ethnic cleansing should install video cameras on their property to record any tresspassing and aggressive behavior. They should record any bad behavior they see to publicize and get the word out to the the rest of the country that the Haredim are very bad neighbors. People need to shame them for their bad behavior and shine a very bright light on their abuses of our very generous welfare programs and their tax evasion.

I know about it. It’s a practice that Hasidic communities would like to discourage, too. In Crown Heights, the Jewish Community Council has a waiting list for bidding on homes that are put on the market. In the Bayswater section of Far Rockaway, there’s a house that’s to die for with a huge parcel of land, and on the door there’s a sign saying, “no, this house is not for sale, but I will entertain offers starting from a million dollars and above.” That was years ago, when I lived in Far Rockaway. I think the bottom offer he’d entertain has probably gone up exponentially. It really is a beautiful house in a neighborhood with many beautiful old houses.

But people are hungry for land, once they can afford it. Big families, crowded apartments in crowded neighborhoods. Still, it’s extremely rude and inexcusable.

This idiot woman somehow amplifies that problem into a casus bellus, sprinkling it with blood libel and racial determinism to make this ethical leap into mass murder more palatable. But it’s not.

Well, so far, both Gov. Murphy and the Jersey City mayor (who’s Jewish himself) have asked her to resign.

But removing her forcibly would be another matter. She might have the support of many around her.

Poor blacks have been pushed out of much of LA, Oakland, and NYC due to gentrification or immigration. Biggest growth in black population in US is down south.

I have a lot of respect for Hasids in creating a United community within their respective sect. Lakewood gave Trump his highest percentage vote total in NJ, and most of the precincts in Brooklyn that voted for Trump were Hasidic. Amazing how the Jewish population in Brooklyn has grown while the old “white et’nics” have all but disappeared.

If the poor AA folks in Greenville are upset with the Hasids then they can always walk across the street to Bayonne.

Do you mean simply that when an ultra orthodox owned home is sold, that there is an u.o. list of buyers so that it never need go on the open market, or do you mean as well that when a non u.o. home goes on the market, there is a queue so the u.o. don’t bid against each other, and they are ready to zip in with an offer as soon as it’s listed, before a non u.o. buyer does the same?
