It's the punching game. If you get caught looking at the hand gesture, you get punched in the shoulder.
So if you're part of that "game" and you show someone that picture and say, "hey, look at this", and you look - you take a shot to the arm.
That's all it is. That's all it's ever been - just a game.

Who came up with this being a white supremacy sign? Sort of a wimpy little gesture for supremacy. At least the black sign is a powerful raised fist.
