Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union, will testify before the House Intelligence Committee on Wednesday, Nov. 20, as part of the impeachment probe into President Donald Trump.

I have said for a couple of weeks that this is like one of those police car chase videos, and the dems are the “chasee”. Once they started, they are in it until that moment where their tires are blown out, they are surrounded by cop cars and, as their car moves slowly we see the driver’s door open as they prepare to jump out and make a run for it.
They are stuck. They have nothing, and they have no way out. It’s going all the way to the butt kicking in the end, if not a total shoot out.
Like the driver of that car, The only power they have is to choose which streets they go down until they hit that dead end finale. I’m enjoying this very much, even when some “think” they are winning. It only looks that way for a few minutes.
The reason I’m so confident is because they have already shown that they have nothing. You hear it in their questions and you hear it in their wrap-ups. They are just hoping for that miracle when they open the door of the moving car and make a run for it and the cops somehow all trip. It ain’t happening. They are going down hard. And the longer it lasts, the more they deserve it.
We are watching the end of “Mr Smith Goes to Washington” play out before our very eyes, except none of the democrats will be having their mea culpa moment. That only happens in movies.
Do the Dems understand that millions don’t care? The country needs a purge and the Marxist Left decided to impeach Trump before they even took the oath of office. Maybe the response to an impeachment and removal from office will be vast civil unrest and the hunting of enemies through the streets.

I know that! But like the old saying goes: To catch the shark, you need to swim with the sharks. Giuliani busted the mob because he knew how they played, and he played like they did in order to beat them. Very effective. And there is no doubt in my mind that Giuliani was investigating the crooked Ukrainian dealings in the same manner. But the optics are terrible, and that is where the problem comes in.
What am I missing. He said quid pro quo was investigation into 2016 election. The rats have been saying Trump wanted investigation to aid his 2020 reelection and that quid quo pro is what is impeachable.
Seems to me this guy is affirming it was 2016 -- not 2020
All his testimony has done so far is prove there is a Deep State, and that they’re repugnant, arrogant, and untrustworthy.
Why wasn’t Sondland given the new script? He changed his testimony to make the Democrats happy.
In plain English, he lied. Not that Democrats care about perjury.

Schiff is pissed at this guy. Sondland is careful not to say that Trump wanted Bidens=Burisma, Trump was all about rooting out CORRUPTION.
No, I’m going out right now saying that this guy is a solid Trump guy, and is not going to throw Trump under the bus.

Sondland just admitted he talked to Trump and trump told him no quid pro quo.
Democrats wouldn’t have called Sondland if he threatened to discredit their narrative.

I agree that he has gone out of his way to say he did NOT hear “the Bidens,” just generic “investigations.”

No way! If he was, Schiff wouldn’t have allowed his testimony. Nunes has already said several times that these witnesses are ALL Democrat picks. The Republican requests have all been denied.
There has been some confusion over this issue because the Republicans have at times insisted on cross examining some of them, and may have publicly expressed that they were looking forward to doing so. But to be clear, these witnesses have all been picked, coached and probably paid by the Democrats.
Also, the ABCNNBCBS fake news has on occasion wrongly reported or implied that some of them are Republican friendly witnesses in order to make any testimony damaging to the President appear unexpected, and thus more of a setback for Republicans.
It’s all part of the show.
I’m not worried - it’s like a tennis match - it is Schiff’s “serve” and the Democrats are expected to win as long as the Democrat controller House is running this Schiff show.
When it moves over to the Senate, it will be the Republicans’ serve, and advantage President Trump.
