Less than a year after having gender surgery, Nathaniel now says, “This whole thing was a bad idea. I am 19 years old, and I feel as though I have ruined my life.”
It’s heartbreaking each time I get a letter from someone who underwent gender-change surgery and regrets it, especially someone as young as Nathaniel.
With his permission, I’m telling a bit of his story to raise awareness of the young lives being ruined by the rush to surgery, and hoping that hearing the testimony of this young man will influence others on this path to slow down and consider the consequences before consenting to surgery.
In Nathaniel’s case, he says he was bullied by the boys in elementary school because he was sensitive and preferred playing girl games. When he was a bit older, he discovered internet pornography, heard about transgenderism, and as he says, “convinced myself that’s what I was.”
When he finally worked up the nerve to tell his mother in the summer after eighth grade, she made an appointment with, in his words, “a doctor at an informed-consent clinic.”
He started seeing the doctor a week after his 15th birthday, and from how he describes the next years of his teens, I’d say going to the clinic didn’t improve his life.
“From then on,” he says, “I slowly detached from everything until I was just staying home, playing video games, and going on the internet all day. I stopped reading, drawing, riding my bicycle. I surrounded myself in an echo chamber that supported and validated my poor decisions, because the others were also, unfortunately, stuck in that pit, too.”

The human brain reaches adulthood about age sixteen or seventeen.
But the west has grown stupid.
Really really stupid.
All over the planet civilizations have acknowledged as they advanced that adulthood is not the pinnacle of development before decline sets in.
Call it elder, or whatever you like. Humans continue to gain in intellect and capacity for sound judgment for a while afterwards.
There people below twenty five are not children. They can be fully adults. Pretending they are not is stupid.

I worked at hospital and a man was in ICU because he put his wanger in a meat grinder when he was refused gender change surgery.

Schools can't teach Math, or English, or History. They can't discipline classrooms, and they can't stop bullies.

If bullying is so prevalent, and it causes gender dysphoria (its the first thing the MSM points too, as in this article) then why aren’t transgendered children everywhere?
They use sperm banks and turkey basters in the U.K. now. Men are no longer needed or wanted.

According to the article, “bullying” is the first and main reason for the kid’s gender identity problems.
He should sue. If women can sue doctors because they don’t like their boob jobs then this guy can sue. If enough people did that the surgery would not be offered.

No one says bullying causes gender dysphoria but the bullying is leading to other problems like depression and low self-worth. The article simply says they were bullied because they liked to play girls games and was sensitive. And you think that is BS because they wouldn’t be bullied for that in your opinion.
Yes they would be. If a boy goes to school and acts like a girl, are you saying he won’t be bullied? Do you not see how that’s part of the problem? If this person was more accepted for liking what he wanted to like, he might not have gone out and seeked advise on what’s wrong with him. He would have never gone down this transgender thing and would have just been a boy that likes girls toys... like a girl who likes boys toys is normal.
No... a soldier losing a leg in combat is totally different from some stupid asshole who made a self-conscious decision to castrate himself.
I am not aware of bullying causing gender disphoria.
Generally it causes weapons, and a level of violence escalation that ends badly.
Gender disphoria is generally caused either by having no role models, by having a high level of hate for the parent or guardian of the same sex, or its inculcated by a family that treats a child as being the opposite sex from what they are.
I was informing you that bullying is alive and common today despite media and academic insistence that it is a thing of the past. Not asserting thay being assaulted causes gender disphoria.
I have known a number of people with intersex conditions. Even with people who have a physical ambiguity as to their sex gender disphoria is hardly ubiquitous.
From the article it sounds like this kid’s mother lead him to pretend to have gender disphoria. Instead of like...getting him a big dog that would have bitten any bullies hanging round.
