Republican operative Roger Stone was found guilty on Friday of all seven counts against him, including witness tampering and making false statements.
The colorful trial lasted for nearly two weeks and featured references to “The Godfather Part II,” threats of dognapping, complaints of food poisoning and a gag order.
Prosecutors portrayed Stone, 67, as a serial liar who tried to bully witnesses into not cooperating with authorities. They charged Stone with making false statements, obstruction and witness tampering.
The case was one of the offshoots of former special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation and the last one referred to federal prosecutors before his investigation ended.
He now has the creds to go into politics. :)
How awful....This is deep state at work.

Every one of these charges seems to be a “process crime”, some of which Roger Stone may have been coerced into, and of no real bearing on the original scope of the dragnet thrown out by the bottom feeders associated with the Mueller investigation.
Scooter Libby never got his good name back either.

Appeals take time. Dem/Media just got a big hammer to use on Trump.
Democrats get another conviction, Republicans stagger around ‘investigating’ and doing nothing.

One lesson coming out of this: Do not talk to the police. You cannot be charged with making false statements if you make no statements at all.
Be nice. Be polite. But do not talk to the police.

It’s DC. The trial should have had a venue change months ago.
All of America’s political trials are held in DC.
We can only hope one day DC gets nuked. The Monuments are made of marble they would be okay we could scrub them off.
This "persecution" is in the mold of Dinesh D'Souza and James O'Keefe.
Trump should just pardon him and get it over with.

That’s grounds for appeal and reason for a pardon.
