Bernard Sigh is Deval Patrick’s brother-in-law. Sigh, 67, was married to the former Massachusetts governor’s sister, Rhonda Patrick-Sigh. Sigh is serving eight years in prison for rape.
The Herald reported that in 2007 an official with the Sex Offender Registry Board in Massachusetts ruled that Sigh did not have to register as his conviction occurred in California and that he did not pose a significant threat.

There was also a story about a guy that raped elderly women. Patrick was a big defender of the guy.
Don’t know if he pardoned or commuted the sentence of the perp.
