He also caught the “I-want-to-be-Prez-bug” and it turned him into a fool. He should have “seen to” his House seat! He might still be there if he had.
Why would Spain want it back? Or even Mexico?
They moved to Texas.
That’s right. I think it was a nasty radical Hispanic woman. The good Republicans in Calif. were overwhelmed.
+ 10000000
Lost in a stampede of northeast liberals and illegal aliens.
Many have quietly moved out....as far back as 20 years ago.
We cannot do so in a caravan because that will draw attention to the California Politicians, and that caravan would probably be stopped at the border & have everything confiscated.
They moved out of state. Actually that is a good thing. We need them to maintain control in the other states. As long as the progressives are concentrated in California that leaves us to run the other states. The problem is that things have gotten so bad in California that even the progressives are moving out now.
I think one problem is that the Republicans that were running for office in the Pete Wilson and after era were all pro-choice. In the 90s, Republican Rick Riordan, mayor of Los Angeles and my Congressman, can’t remember his name but started with K and sounded Dutch. Then, Swarzennegger.

I have no idea who goes to Republican meetings in our area, but they never stick their neck out. The Tea Party was active, but it did not seem connected with Republicans.

ballot harvesting

The Republicans in this state need to remember the name of Father Niemoller”.
First they came for the Conservatives and I said nothing, because I was not a Conservative.
Then they came for the Republicans and I said nothing, because I was not a Republican.
Then they came for the Independents and I said nothing, because I was not an Independent.
Then they came for ME, and there was no one left to speak for ME.
Whither California . . .
PING!
Good point.
California Republicans need to be more aggressive and have a Thatcher-Reagan approach to campaigning.
Run candidates in 2022 and 2026 for CA governor, period.
