Agreed. They had to set the scene but got Trumped with the transcript. However, I worry that the birth defect of that is forgotten/getting lost to the average Joe.
I just took a peek at the hearing and saw the Dems have a lawyer asking a leading question of the anti-Trump witness. Does this mean that Republicans get 5 minutes per Representative, whether they are competent or not at questioning, but the Dems have a hired lawyer asking their questions?
If anything this is a pretty slick move from San Fran Nan. The rabid base gets their investigation and she puts Schiff in charge of it. This thing is bombing, but at least she can say to the RAT voters she tried, and any blowback to it from them will be aimed at Schiff. Pelosi threw him under the bus today and she keeps her hands clean!

Well he tried to which is why he went there....obviously he discovered he was out of the loop! Alternate scenario: The Senate votes to convict based on all the Rats plus Deep State Republicans, Republicans who have been shown their own intelligence files and those who have been promised wealth in exchange for their treachery. Then Patriotic Americans storm the capitol and take back their government and the seditious representatives and Senators spend their last days in small cells listening to the scaffolds being constructed outside.
