I am sure it would, but I doubt I would pay $46K for it.
Imagine the buyer’s reaction when he found that his bid for 1.2 kg of “Snow” was instead for a ocean bottom dweller.
Sounds like a couple old girlfriends of mine.......
46 Grand for a bottomfeeder? I’ll pass and go with the fish sticks and chips.
I’ll never complain again about the cost of crab at Costco.
But did they ...never mind.
You have the honor (in my humble opinion) of having the most absolute best reply for quite some time!!
Former First Lady Michelle wants to know:
“
Hi!..I mean, Konnichiwa..
Is there gonna be a Lobster Banquet anytime soon? Am I invited?
I could leave Martha’s Vineyard at any time, or just send my husband with a big empty Take Out box.
Please do not ignore my Texts!!
This is Michelle!!!”
I buy the imitation crab stuff it’s real cheap and makes a great sandwich ,LOL
I never understood the fascination with crab. It tastes like Tuna, so just give me Tuna. I do like Salmon though, anytime, anywhere.
I bought snow crab at HEB last week for 11 dollars a pound.
For 46000 dollars that damn crab must come with Lauren Bacall and Sophia Lauren when they were 21, a cask of Amontillado and a sip of “Henri IV Dudognon Heritage Cognac Grande Champagne” Just a sip is many thousands of dollars.
That might be worth it. Otherwise it is just a damn crab! I caught them for free when I lived in Corpus Christi, Texas on the Gulf Coast. They were not snow crabs but Gulf Blue Crabs. They actually taste better but are much more work to eat.
And just think...our local Publix was selling snow crab for $9.99 a pound! They were pretty darn good. ;o)
[[Who still thinks Godzilla couldnt happen.]]
TCM just ran all the godzilla movies in oct lol- there are liek 17 of them
Isopods?
If it tastes like shrimp, crab or lobster I will eat it. I am a West Texas and South Louisiana boy. If it tastes good we eat it, even if it is ugly. “Aint” nothing much uglier than a raw oyster and they are delicious.
“long legs, fat and solid meat filling and rich creamy innards.’ Sounds like a couple old girlfriends of mine....... “
Viking 2002 has exceeded the norms of political correctness and raised fond memories of my lost youth.
I salute you Viking 2002!
I’m not squeamish either. Drawn butter and some lemon and yum. God made them that ugly so even vegans cant bitch about people killing them and made them delicious to boot.
Them Japs, as my dad would call them, sure spend a pretty penny on food.
Kobe beef, Tuna even rice.
US$1.75 lb
Yes, as long as it was fresh off the boat that caught it, kept alive until cooked, else it tends to dehydrate when frozen - you can tell by how light the animal is when you pic it up, since most of the water has evaporated. Rehydration only sort of works, if you use salt water from the ocean.
