Agreed. Back in the early 60’s and had aspirations of Engineering, Electrical in my case, IT wasn’t even invented as a career,you had Trig with a ‘dusting’ of Calc in your senior high school year. I went to a regular H/S nothing fancy. I doubt if these courses are even taught in H/S today.

Question for the "educators" pushing this swill: without a solid grounding in math, where we will find our next generation of scientists, engineers, designers, doctors, developers, architects, managers, marketers, leaders?

When I was in school, teachers were called “teachers.” Now they are “educators,” or more precisely “re-educators.”
Schools have turned into re-education camps where everyone will be brought to the equality of the least intelligent.
