Another problem with this poll it polling a know Trump against an unknown Democrat. So the respondent is making their response based on what ever their idea of a “perfect” candidate is.

The LA Times is about as fake as it gets on the west coast. Don't lose any sleep over something that is spun hard in the liberal direction.
Remember, Hillary was supposed to win 98% of the vote against Trump's 2% right up until the night of the 2016 election.

Right now I'm seeing Conservatives literally pouncing and verbally kicking ass on some forums.
I do find it very hard to believe that 52% of Americans will be unhappy if Trump is re-elected.
Everyone with a job today should appreciate him, those who have just landed one, in particular.
Those seeing tax cuts should be happy. Those wanting to see the wall go up, should be also.
It used to be only a few folks here wanted a wall. Now people across the internet are squarely behind it.

I have seen thousands of people say something like this: "I voted for Trump in 2016 not being sure, but he has really won me over. I'm so glad I voted for him and can't wait do it again."
For the reverse, I haven't seen a single one. I haven't seen anyone say they voted for him in 2016, but would never do it again.
This tells me that Trump has undoubtedly increased his numbers since 2016. For that reason, he should do considerably better.
I am seeing Blacks and Hispanics proud as can be, to be backing Trump. I've seen hundreds of Latin people brag about being of Mexican ancestry, and loving Senior Trump.
This media is so whacked, I don't even think they know which way is up.
