Of course, in the USA there are racists, homophobes, sexists and all kinds. But America is not a racist country, not a homophobic country, not a country that hates foreigners.

Some in the Black community won’t vote for a gay man. Some whites, some hispanics maybe even some gays too! That is not the point, nor the only reason for his lack of support. He’s done a crap job as mayor and the Black community of South Bend have disdain for his governance. Period. Same reason most on the ‘right’ have disdain for leftist bastions. Not because of skin, race, origin, sex but because they have crap policies.
