Andy Beshear, Who Fundraised With Abortionist, Defeats Pro-Life Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin
LIFE NEWS ^ | Nov 6, 2019 | Steven Ertelt

Kentucky voters had a clear choice in the gubernatorial race when it comes to abortion politics today. And in the end the pro-life governor who served women and unborn children so proudly went home in defeat to a Democrat who fundraised with an abortionist.

Republican Gov. Matt Bevin has a strong pro-life record by defending unborn babies and cracking down on abortion businesses for not following the law. His opponent, Democrat Andy Beshear, has a radical pro-abortion stance. As state attorney general, he refused to defend a Kentucky law that protects unborn babies from abortions after 20 weeks.

Voters unfortunately did not reward Bevin’s strong pro-life record by sending him back to the governor’s mansion.

With 99% of the vote counted, Beshear defeated Bevin by a 49-48 percent margin.

Bevin has a strong record of protecting unborn babies and mothers from abortion. He has cracked down on abortion clinics, ensuring that they meet health and safety regulations. In 2016, his administration took legal action against Planned Parenthood after its new Lexington facility began aborting unborn babies without a license. That facility still is prohibited from aborting unborn babies.

As governor, Bevin has signed multiple pro-life laws, including measures to ban abortions after an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable, protect unborn babies with Down syndrome from discrimination and protect unborn babies from brutal dismemberment abortions.

Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser said Bevin is a pro-life hero, and the Kentucky abortion lobby is trying desperately to unseat him. Her organization is working to inform voters in Kentucky ahead of the election.

In contrast, Beshear has a pro-abortion record and recently participated in a fundraiser with a Kentucky abortionist. In 2017, he refused to defend a Kentucky law that protects unborn babies by banning abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

KY is one of the “Bible Belt” states. When I lived in Louisville, on Sundays traffic cops were everywhere on the main roads by church entrances/exits directing traffic due to the massive amount of cars wanting to pull out of church parking lots. SMH

Seems like people just didn’t like Bevin then

The last abortion mill in Kentucky is in Louisville and we were so close to closing it down!

Rats are already running with this as turning point in the 2020 election.

The Kentucky and Virginia results have me depressed. How can any sane people vote for the Marxist, racist, insane Democrats? What has happened to our country, our culture, our society? Why don’t people want decency, beauty, goodness and truth?

This result was about Bevin, not abortion. Bevin was a weak candidate and an unpopular governor.

With a race this close a few million in dark money can make the difference.

Bevin has not conceded and the report is there were reports of voting irregularities.

Bevin said “Understand this though, we want the process to be followed and there is a process,” he said. “We know for a fact that there have been more than a few irregularities, they are very well corroborated and that’s alright. What they are exactly, how many, which ones and what effect if any they’ll have, will be determined according to law, that’s well established.”

Bevin also brought up his GOP primary victory in 2015, which he won by only 83 votes.

“The process will be followed and in the end we will have the governor that was chosen by the people of Kentucky. ... I haven’t had that many races here but I’ve had some cliffhangers. This is another one. This is another cliffhanger and let’s see what happens.”

We are being demographically replaced and our children have been brainwashed in the schools. The 65’ Hart-cellar act was designed to eliminate white people.

With such a close margin, it’s too early and too close to call. I don’t buy this verdict.

5000 votes, easily within the fraudulent ratio of votes from Jefferson and Fayette counties alone. Another stolen election due Republican acquiesce of the nation wide democrat illegal election machine.

Yes. Republicans won the five other statewide offices handily. They won four of them with 58% or more of the vote. But 400,000 registered Republicans didn’t vote in the governors race. And the Democrat won by 4,100 votes.

If God were into U.S. politics there wouldn't be a Democrat in power.

Perhaps Our Heavenly Father doesn’t like how depraved our society has become.

What this really tells us is the pathetic state of the Republican Party. Because it is a specials interest, wall street, cheap labor express GLOBALIST party at the top it is not really a viable alternative to populist socialism. Most working class people DON'T VOTE.

The globalists own the GOP and everyone knows it.

In a two party system if the R's can't beat the lunatic left then a new nationalist party needs to form around American WORKERS.

Well that is my,

There no longer exists in America a consensus of moral values. Sorry but you have the spectacle of vile pseudo Christian preachers supporting and embracing abortionist Democrats, accepting their blood money and then leading their gullible flocks to the polls. Sad and sickening.
