When Van Drew was in the NJ Assembly, he responded to me favorably. The issue was gun control. He is a strong 2nd Amendment supporter. A decent man. I hope he sticks to his guns. (Pun intended).
I'm sure it will be the usual traitors. *SPIT*
Just like bammycare’s passage. Just enough to get it through and allow the vulnerable ones
1st, it’s not a real resolution. 2nd, the Dems think one GOP vote in support makes this “bipartisan” but if they have more Dems opposed as GOPers for then that is the narrative.
This really won't work, in fact opposite would probably happen. He would anger His\Her Democrat base in their district and the he would be lumped in with the rest of the Democrats regardless of how they vote. So it's a lose\lose. The Democrats were warned, them getting cute will not work here. They have lost the House.
Agreed, their only hope is to drop the whole fake impeachment charade. But they won't, they continue digging.
“He would anger His\Her Democrat base in their district and the he would be lumped in with the rest of the Democrats regardless of how they vote. “
i thought the same thing too: that trying to protect a few vulnerable ones wouldn’t work ...
IOW, he'll vote for it if the money's right / or, he's realized that being primaried by radicals is probably going to happen anyway. Thanks E. Pluribus Unum.
Sounds like he’s not sure about it even as he says it.
I guess he needs a visit from Feinstein or Pelosi before his vote.
He will get a daily dose of Dimocratic commies coming after him for this. His minders will go nuts on him.
