They don’t ‘serve’ .....that’s the problem.

They want the power given to them, and the material/monetary benefits.

BRING BACK TERM LIMITS!!

We never had term limits. The idea was rejected at the Constitutional Convention of 1787 because the delegates understood that there needed to be some kind of “institutional memory.”

Whomever they serve, the American people are at the very bottom of the list. Almost an after shot.

First and foremost they serve themselves.

I believe that the founders did not consider term limits because back then the life expectancy was no where near being 80-90 years old they could have NEVER foreseen these bastards being in congress and senate for 50+ years!! Their total life span back then was only 50 years IF THAT!!!

If you could survive childhood diseases, heart attacks and cancer, a lifespan of 80 to 90 years was not at all unusual. Jefferson and Adams made it into that range.

Between the end of the War of 1812 and 1852, three career politicians in Congress ran the country while presidents came and went with little impact, except for Andrew Jackson, who had a large impact. Daniel Webster, Henry Clay and John Calhoun were professional politicians. When they weren't in Congress, they were in the Cabinet and spent very little time out of office. I would recommend The Great Triumvirate: Webster, Clay and Calhoun by Merrill D. Peterson, a book to which I refer quite often.

The Great Triumvirate all made it in to their 70s before passing on.

Lifespan wasn't the reason that the Convention decided not to opt for term limits.

Bingo.

You nailed it. Both parties. All our leadership. Our media, our entire manufacturing base.

Everyone. Until Donald Trump.

For the last THIRTY YEARS, has been selling out to China.

Everyone.

Everyone... For the last THIRTY YEARS, has been selling out to China.

I find many, many very smart people don't realize how true this is... Yet.

It all started with Tricky Dick Nixon. He did us no favor.

I was in China back around then. Shortly after.

Nixon did not start the sellout, in my view.

No our relationship could have been very good right now, if only we had insisted on reciprocity.

Very simple.

We did not. Now I wonder what will happen.

It is starting to appear, it is becoming a complete conflict.

Lots, and lots, and lots of people sold out.

Basically our entire establishment.

Trump is doing the right thing, but now, WAY too many of the people who should be supporting him, are already SOLD OUT.

This is a huge problem.

Certainly not us.

They work for the highest bidder no matter where they come from or what they want. Most have no limits, no scruples, no morals, no honor, no principles. They are mostly devotees of power and money. The order does not matter.

They are high cost whores.

I don’t think the American people are on the list for most.

Tricky Dick did us NO favors at all that I am aware of.

For profit health care.
EPA
OSHA
abolish the gold standard
Baseline budgeting
etc.

Great guy huh? But not a crook, so he said.
