Radio Free anything reminds me of WW-II's Tokyo Rose.........
each household should meet a quota amounting to 100 kilograms (220 pounds) per able-bodied citizen.
That claim in itself is absurd.....which leads me to believe that even news coming out of NK is fake news...........
History repeats. In the 1960’s the CIA produced bogus “works” and “poetry” by Most Esteemed Chairman Mao Tse-tung, in his own bombastic style. This was when Mao’s Cult of Personality was at its zenith. These fake works provoked ridicule of communism and were widely distributed throughout Asia.
One of these praised the “heroic and devoted nightsoil workers” who carried out their revolutionary work while quoting from Mao’s little red book. It even described one nightsoil hero who bravely fought off an attempt by “evil U.S. imperialist lackeys” to steal his gleanings from the Battle Song of the Proletariat People’s Commune.
As a result of his heroism the commune fields were properly fertilized and the happy commune workers reaped a bumper crop. They celebrated with a guest performance of “The Red Detachment of Women” ballet with a hymn to mechanized farming called “Grandma Sees Six Different Machines”.
Thank Marx, Lenin & Mao that the PDRK is still here to carry on this fine revolutionary tradition.
