As President Trump faces media scrutiny over a phone call he held with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said he may seek to withhold funds from the intelligence community unless they disclose the full contents of the conversation.
Schiff, who serves as the House Intel Committee chairman, appeared on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday, where host Jake Tapper asked if Schiff would be willing to put the nation at risk to get to the bottom of the cryptic report.
"It depends on what funds we withhold," Schiff replied. "In this case, you have the office of the director of national intelligence that is withholding this complaint in violation of the clear letter of the law... And there are funding requests that that office makes that don’t go directly to national security that we can withhold."
The story was first reported by the Washington Post as a whistleblower claim about Trump making some type of "promise" to a foreign leader, which may have been of a nefarious nature. Further reporting claimed the conversation was linked to Ukraine, and Trump's request for their government to look into 2020 presidential hopeful Joe Biden's son and his business dealings.

Schiff said a million times he had absolute proof that candidate Trump conspired with Russia. He maybe forgot to tell anybody what the proof is or something.
So Trump is the bad guy here for asking for blatant corruption by the Bidens using taxpayer money as a bribe to be investigated.
Democrats are evil, everything they tried against Trump failed, now they think this is their last chance to get rid of Trump.
I hope this effort fails as well.
I never knew that one member of the House could issue an executive order to halt a part of the executive branch without the House & Senate passing it and sending it the President to be signed into law.

The intel community has been searching for a mission since the fall of the Soviet Union to keep all of the Russian speaking sovietologists employed and empowered. Now they have mission that needs their skills. Russian collusion to subvert the intelligence community through their Manchurian stooge Trump. Yee haaa, keep the dollars coming in, baby. That is a deal I can live with! De-fund and fire every last one of them. If funds are ever restored, refuse to re-hire any for any reason.

You make a good point but are much too optimistic when it comes to the Dems.
You need to replace “LAST CHANCE” with “NEXT CHANCE” to truly capture the reality of dealing with these self serving snakes.
