Democrat presidential hopeful Robert “Beto” O’Rourke responded to those who want to keep their AR-15s by asking why they do not pursue ownership of a bazooka as well.
O’Rourke’s comment came after a gun-totting mother in Aurora, Colorado, told him that he was not taking her guns.
O’Rourke later took to Twitter and wrote, “A woman in CO told me ‘hell no’ she won’t give back her AR-15. I listened, but by her logic: Why shouldn’t you be allowed to have a bazooka or a tank?”

The only thing he said that makes sense to me. Indeed, why not?
All citizens should be able to own any weapon that the police, private militias (Bloomberg security,etc), or any state security agency is allowed to possess.
I have no problem with having tanks or bazookas.

The ‘logic’ Beta doesn’t get is that when in a society respect for the sacredness of life diminishes to the point at which ~2000 people get shot in one city in less than 9 months (Chicago), people kill children in schools, it’s open season on the police, and legislators in some states pass laws allowing ‘abortion after birth’, it doesn’t matter what ‘weapons’ you may or may not ban. It’s the people who are doing the killing, and as long as they want to kill, they will find a way.
Oddly, flamethrowers are completely unregulated - so you can a bunch of them!
A bazooka? Do they still exist? Personally, I think I should have my own personal Warthog. I’ll pay for the pilot.

Hot dang! Beta’s gonna join the NRA! I don’t necessarily want the latest and greatest, a couple dozen RPG’s will do nicely to lighten up those 4th of July parties.

Why not, i was trained briefly on how to use one. Bounce an inert rocket off the tank, so aim is good.

Just buy one. Unless you live in California or Maryland, they are not controlled. Flamethrowers are used in agriculture, for sugarcane harvesting among other uses.
(An AR-15 is probably much more useful for home defense, though.)
