Democrats thought Donald was done – he’s just getting started!
Thanks to President Trump, the U.S. economy is on fire like never before. Jobs are coming back and wages are on the rise.
Companies are competing to keep Americans workers. In fact, there are more open jobs than people looking for work!
But as good as things are, Trump wants them even better. The economy can only thrive when people are jumping in and getting back to work.
But there’s one program that keeps people poor and out of the workforce. A program that also costs the taxpayers billions a year.
And Trump is about to pull the plug on this program—for millions.
From Fox News:
…residents in 43 states who receive help from Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, or TANF, automatically enroll in the food-stamp program… The USDA intends to review these TANF cases to see if participants qualify for the program.
You might have been surprised to know that recipients of TANF automatically were enrolled in the food stamp program. Even if they didn’t need it!
That’s by design. Democrats like to hand out free government goodies like Halloween treats! They want as many people poor and dependent on the government as possible.
We all know government Welfare doesn’t lift people out of poverty. In fact, it keeps them poor, because to keeping earning stuff like food stamps you have to earn less.
The only way to get people off that carousel is to cut benefits.
President Trump wants Americans free to pursue their dreams. That means getting off the government teat and working for a living.
When a person has a good, well-paying job, they get a sense of dignity and accomplishment. Plus, they earn WAY more than what food stamps can provide.
All that Trump wants to do is require the USDA to just make sure participants of TANF actually need food stamps. Instead of just handing them out like lollipops at the doctor’s office.
Why waste tax dollars when we don’t need to? That is what a responsible leader does—he makes sure our government spending is in check.
Already Democrats are angry. But hey, if they got their way, their policies would make us broke, sick, and desperate for more government aid.
Liberals want as many Americans stuck on food stamps so they can raise taxes, expand the size of the government, and get re-elected.
But Trump is putting a stop to all that. And saving you money in the process.
I’m glad he’s doing this. But I have one sticking point with this article:

Also, a lot of these companies are still competing for H1-B Third Worlders, not Americans, IMO.

The gvt is working hard to replace the name “food stamps” with the name SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). It will always be food stamps to me.
In South Dakota the counties are indian reservations..

That map makes it look like he’s going after Native Americans and all the meth heads in VA as well as the uneducated and rural in our southern states.
I wish the focus would be on entrenched, northern BLUE Democrat enclaves, instead.

Milwaukee and Dane Counties in WI have a HUGE number of freeloaders.
Something isn’t adding up, here.
That little red bit in Southern Illinois is Alexander County. County seat is Cairo, IL. You might want to do a street view of Cairo to get an idea of what it’s like. Or google Cairo Public Housing to see what life is like there.

Looks like a lot of those counties are sparsely populated counties with a large percentage of American Indians.

Among the top 20 states that GET more than they GIVE, almost all are southern and Midwestern.
NY gives more than it gets.

Not hard to believe if you cherry pick the data. Those are very low population counties and though the % may be high the absolute numbers are tiny. If you were to add up their population it would be less than the welfare recipients in any one of the large cesspools run by the Rats.

Just so everyone knows. Food stamps by any name is a farm subsidy administered by the Dept. of Agriculture.
I live in CA. and I find it VERY HARD to believe that CA. is not on this map at all!!! Something is definitely fishy here!!!

The map reflects the highest percentage of people on SNAP, not the most in sheer numbers.
Interesting map. Looks like most of the Top 100 Counties are Indian Reservations in Montana, N Dakota, S Dakota, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. Then there is Appalaichia where coal job losses have been devastating and the deep South.
I am shocked that none of the top Dem controlled metro areas are in the Top 100.
Bingo! I observed the same thing - Indians, Appalachia (coal job losses) and the deep south. Where are the Dem-entrenched metro areas? That’s what needs to be cleaned out.
