RSBN ^ | Sept. 15, 2019 | Right Side Broadcasting Twitter

Posted on 09/15/2019 8:41:50 PM PDT by 4Liberty

After 300 million + views of President @realDonaldTrump rallies and 4 years following the rules on YouTube, our live streaming ability was taken away with no explanation. We have ZERO copyright or community violations on our account. We are shocked. Why, @YouTube ? #FreeRSBN

UPDATE: We have received confirmation from @YouTube that there was an apparent issue on our 24 hour live stream where copyrighted audio or video unintentionally went out over the air for a few moments without our knowledge.

The above link is off RSB’s Twitter feed, from about 4 hours ago. No details given on the alleged violation.

YouTube is working on the issue and we hope to be back up and able to live stream soon. We appreciate their help in the matter and will report back here when we hear of our streaming fate!

Per reports on Twitter, youtube found bits of copyrighted music on an RSB broadcast.

If true, I smell a set-up.

Youtube and all the other internet giants are willingly working for the left.

Google has an appalling amount of money at its disposal for YouTube’s legal defense. They may have taken this action knowing that they will ultimately lose and incur very costly damages, but they’re willing to burn truckloads of cash to fight a delaying action.

Then the DOJ should shut them down till litigation is complete in the same manner rouge justices issue nation wide injunctions to keep everything in neutral trying to impead Trump.

I’d like to see how long they would continue a delaying action then.

“They weren’t deplatformed, they lost their ability to live stream ... Live streaming of Trump rallies is why RSBN exists!”

You can go to www.rsbnetwork.com for the livestreaming and everything else they offer. Why care about youtube?

Perhaps it’s time for the FCC to shut down You Tube until such time as sense can be made of their actions.

For a hundred reasons you do not want the government in charge of the press, which would be the effect. What happens when a Democrat becomes President and gets to appoint commissioners to the FCC?

The only solution for the youtube-Google corruption is competing platforms. Otherwise, we are outlawing private businesses' right to disseminate information according to their choosing.

Teddy Roosevelt and the other Progressives were, in their view of business and government, Constitutionally careless and factually wrong in the particulars--manipulated by liars of the time.

All the video on “www.rsbnetwork.com” is YouTube. The RSBN Twitter is now saying it was a music “Copyright Strike” during a recent livestream. Video gets taken down...they are definitely not “deplatformed”.

Social Media alternatives need to be created.

Isn't this one of them?

Wrong. What’s happening right now with Trump as POTUS? Government is outsourcing totalitarianism. Time and again supporters of Trump are attacked by these Tech robberbarrons. It will be far worse with a Democrat POTUS even with no changes.

The tech oligarchs have no fear because they own Congress. Your “competition” idea is a liberatarian day dream. Goolag and Amazon are the modern day equivalents of Standard Oil. Without a firm response to their civil rights violations they will continue to assault conservatives.

You’re right. I wasn’t thinking clearly, or long term.

“where copyrighted audio or video unintentionally went out over the air for a few moments”

That has been a bugaboo for RSBN for a long time. It’s the reason the reporters and reporterettes chatter incessantly during an event. (That one chick’s voice is SO irritating!) If a few seconds pass when the talking stops and copyrighted music can be heard clearly, then they’re in violation. And it seems TPTB eagerly wait for that to happen.

Too bad RSBN can’t afford to pay the cost of the music rights for the events.

FWIW, if RSBS was smart enough to avoid that, all it would take to give YouTube an excuse is for some plant nearby to be playing music on his cell phone.

Last I knew YouTube had still not provided RSB with a detailed complaint.

the modern day equivalents of Standard Oil.

Standard Oil destroyed competitors by ruthlessly cutting costs and selling oil products more cheaply. As lobbyists, of course they played the government where they could, but the government ate the oil business in the end. That made it more regulated, inefficient, expensive, and vulnerable to Middle East terrorists and dictators. Thank God for fracking, which despite interference by the states is re-setting the table.

But Trump could start his own platform, or rather, have his son do so. It's the only way out of this situation. Government involvement corrupts, and businesses are very willing to use government corruption to their advantage. That's why the Deep State exists to begin with.

I don't understand the alarm at competing platforms. People have been getting infuriated at youtube and Gargle for a whole range of reasons. Another platform would have a massive publicity boost, and obviously the market is huge--bigger than youtube or its masters at Google can handle.

YT has been harassing RSBN for a very long time — as soon as they realized the fledgling little station was making an impact. Who knows what they’ll do next (plant a saboteur?) to thwart their efforts.

Some mega-rich patriot should donate the fee required to play the music. These kids are doing such a great job, and they’re so enthusiastic. It’s a shame they have to deal with evildoers.
