Yep. And it should be assumed as and dismissed as a fake before even being debated at any length at all.

It doesn’t fit their narrative so they didn’t read it. All they know is he’s a white guy “white supremisist”

Here’s your chance. Read the manifesto:

https://thefederalistpapers.org/opinion/el-paso-shooters-entire-purported-manifesto

Then read this brilliance by Daniel Greenfield:

The owner of 8Chan has already came out and claimed the manifesto was not from Crusius. And this would be easy for a webmaster to chase down in most cases. If a user posts something from one verifiable IP address location and then 5 minutes later posts from a verifiable address 2,000 miles away, they were not posted by the same source. Or if a user has always posted from one demographic area IP range and this one post is from a totally different IP area range then more than likely the sources are not the same.

Sorry, you are wrong. The owner of 8chan did not say what you are claiming. The facts are that Crusius was not a subscriber to 8chan, but posted his screed to his account on Instagram and the owner of 8chan correctly noted that a copy of the Instagram posting by Crucius was re-posted by another user to 8chan. The mainstream news media has been getting this wrong all along, probably deliberately so.

And the impression one gets after reading the manifesto is quite different than some press accounts.

And this is a surprise to .....?

“Whites, blacks, hispanics, (and I cannot recall the fourth part.) He did not suggest which group would get which part.

The boy is nuts.”

More like we are nuts. Multiculturalism and multiracialism has been an utter disaster. We either separate peacefully or we’ll continue to be at each other’s throat even more. The path we’re on is unsustainable.

re: “Yes, that “manifesto” is of questionable origin. The owner-admin of the 8chan site ...”

Overlooking a few things here chum, such as, the (purported) author of this piece is still LIVING.

Not it hasn’t.

Multi-multiculturalism has worked for 200+ years in our country. We’ve assimilated dozens of different cultures in our country for centuries.

My opinion is the problem is NOT multi-culturalism, is that there has been an attack on assimilation. It seems that there is very little that is considered “American” any more.

* Thanksgiving is about oppression.
* Columbus Day is about oppression.
* Christmas is about “religious freedom”
* Veterans Day is about “Military Intervention”
* Memorial Day is about Discrimination in WWII.
* The 4th of July of is about Expansionism
* Labor day is about a $100 minimum wage and socialism

Maybe we need “revolution” that addresses the positive things about America that are good for all of us, not the old institutional things that people find fault with.

I love the feeling of community we used to feel on the “founding day” of our city. I don’t mind teaching “accurate” history—but history is history. Judgement of history is important. But they are not always the same thing.

Do you realize that there are two laws, already on the books that could have stopped the El Paso shooting?

The first is our immigration law.

If it was being enforced and treated seriously, 20 people would still be alive.

The second law is Constitution which requires the laws of the United States to be enforced.

If these two laws were being obeyed, El Paso wouldn’t have happened.

The left doesn’t care that a bunch of people were shot.

They just want gun control.

“My opinion is the problem is NOT multi-culturalism, is that there has been an attack on assimilation.”

Obviously you don’t have a clue as to what multiculturalism means. It is absolutely against assimilation - it is the opposite of assimilation. It claims that all cultures are equally good and to try to do away with them via assimilation is racist and xenophobic.

Assimilation is the elimination of a culture in favor of the dominant one. It is used to keep a country monocultural.

Yes, we are in fundamental agreement. I mis-used the word to reflect that we are in a “multi-cultural” world, not that we should live in an environment without an underlying basic culture that says we are all American.

it doersn’t matter what the manifesto actually refereed to- the left have stolen the narrative, and the msm will make nearly everyone believe it’s about white supremacy- the left’s NEW INVENTED TRUTH is all the msm will print now-

He did NOT say it wasn’t from the shooter ...he just said it was not the shooter who put it on 8chan.. He said it was posted to Instagram originally, and someone who was not the shooter found it on Instagram, then copied it from Instagram to 8chan.

“I mis-used the word to reflect that we are in a “multi-cultural” world”

And I am glad that the WORLD is multicultural. Each country should have the right to live according to its values, and perhaps learn from each other.

But voluntarily adopting a value from another culture and in essence making it your own is very different than willy nilly forcing a whole culture upon another, which is what multiculturalism is all about.

The recent growth in nationalism is a reaction to that. A nation is not so much a geographic region as a container of a culture and a people.
