Speaking at Netroots Nation, an event organized by far-left website Daily Kos, Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar accused Americans of treating illegal aliens worse than dogs. What's more, she said, they do so because they're inherently and deeply racist. "We live in a society," Rep. Omar said, "and govern in a body that might value the life of a dog more than they value the life of a child who might not look like theirs." Here's the video:

I wonder, did she have in mind how most Americans treat dogs, or how Muslims treat dogs? Because there is a big difference.
I should point out that in general, by law, humans are treated worse than animals. Regulations for keeping animals in a facility are very strict. For example, the turnover of fresh air into rooms where animals are housed happens at about twice the frequency of fresh air turnover in the office spaces of the same building.
