I’ve followed social media since BBS days. Such sites have a finite life cycle. Unstoppable juggernauts disappear almost overnight, forgotten, replaced by the next new sites. Facebook, Twitter, etc are not exempt.
I now use Facebook to keep in touch with family via private messaging. I no longer post or follow other people. When you can’t even discuss history because it may offend someone you know the site is 100% agenda driven, and as Marxists are the only ones who wish to erase history it is easy to say what FB wants.
What I could do without is the moral preening and virtue signaling of my Libtard friends. Logging on to Fakebook presents the risk of elevated blood pressure, a pain-inducing facepalm on my part, or the unbearable urge to troll them with a truth bomb that will harm our personal relationship.

They’re all getting banned over there for mentioning Tommy Robinson. If you mention his name in a positive way or post a photo of him, you 100% will get banned. I’ve had it happen to me and my friends.
I never had a fakebook page under my actual identity and haven’t had one at all since they required a photo and phone number.
I have thought for some time that the ‘social media’ craze had a limited life. Part of this is that Facebook, et al are feeling heat from the gvt regarding customer privacy. The other part of customers realizing just how much of their private lives are known.
Personally I hope FB, et al will fade into oblivion.

Logged in last summer after years of being off and found contact from an uncle in London who helped me collect 9,800 euro inheritance from a deceased aunt in spring.
Tomorrow morning my wife and child return home (I stayed home with the puppy) from 3,600 euro (not counting 500 euro train with beds and 1,000+ euro spending money) Disneyland Paris week vacation with many extras added in like Eiffel Tower visit, Paris boat tour, etc.
