That sub just has a nuclear reactor. Its an exploratory sub apparently. And Europe goes through routine radiation releases, unfortunately. Chernobyl and a few unexplained ones lol.

Yes but the Russians never let us anywhere near their subs. They let a whole sub crew perish rather than let us rescue them previously.
