Joe Biden on Wednesday doubled down on his statements about working with segregationist senators, telling reporters that he has nothing to be sorry for. Biden dismissed criticism of the comments, including from fellow Democratic presidential candidates such as Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, who called on Biden to apologize. "Apologize for what? Cory should apologize," Biden said. "He knows better. There's not a racist bone in my body."The former vice president cited his past voting record and his work on the Voting Rights Act while head of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Biden claimed he didn't have to like someone else's views to make his case and beat them.

President Trump and Biden are close to the same age. Trump is more of a northerner; Biden from Delaware which is the edge of the south.

Trump has never honored the men that Biden honors.

Yet the press has falsely called Trump “racist” for three years.

“There’s not a racist bone in my body.”

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy”

“In Delaware, the largest growth of population is Indian Americans, moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”

Biden said he “reached across the aisle” to work with these segregationists but they were Democrats.

>>Biden brought up the names of Sens. James Eastland of Mississippi and Herman Talmadge of Georgia, both Democrats who were staunchly opposed to desegregation.

The media will try to bury this information and make it seem like Biden was talking about "reaching across the aisle" and working with Republicans. Why shouldn't Biden work with his own party? Is Booker, Harris, et alia, saying they won't work with their own party members?

I am afraid, it’s like many truths.. no matter how much evidence there is.. no matter how wrong you have been proven.. They know better. Ot to put it on better terms.. Professing to be wise they became fools.
Pro death folks can read all day about a in utero spina bifida sugery at almost 23 weeks and still call it a clump of cells.
I will start teacing a few thing in Sunday school about a heartbeat at 21 days and sucking thumb at 9 weeks. We have to teach them truths instead of sending them off to death indoctrination camps.

Rush is right; he usually is.

We thought Obama couldn’t be elected; after Obama it should be clear what a mistake it would be to elect someone else of that ilk, with three years of Trump policy behind us. At least for one more election, anyway.

Biden from Delaware which is the edge of the south.

I had a great uncle who owned a farm a few miles over the Mason-Dixon line into Maryland. Slave quarters were still standing on the property.

(he bought the place in the 70's....no, my family never owned any slaves)

That’s not racist. That’s truth. I just hate that people see racism in every word spoken or muttered. And yes, I know they would fry any Republican who said the same thing but jeez this crap is getting old.
