HOLLYWOOD, January 11, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) It doesnt seem possible, but theres an actor in Hollywood who wont kiss his co-stars, let alone participate in steamy scenes. And, his principled stance has made trouble come his way.
Neal McDonough, 52, has worked on-screen since his television debut in 1991. Hes appeared in such television shows as Quantum Leap, NYPD Blue, Band of Brothers, and Desperate Housewives, and in such films as Minority Report and Captain America: The First Avenger. McDonough has also done voice work in cartoon films: he played Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk, for example.
But McDonough has recently made headlines for saying that he was cut from the starring role of 2010s TV comedy series Scoundrels because he wouldnt do a sex scene with his co-star Virginia Madsen.
(please see full article at the link)
In fact, McGoohan was so strict that for a scene in which he had to slow dance with a woman, McGoohans daughter was used as a stand in.
I think he was in an auto commercial that was hysterically funny.
Can’t remember what auto, but it was a high end one, I believe.
I had never seen nor heard of him, but then I see very little TV.
Why doesn’t Hollywood celebrate him as the minority/rebel he is? Any miley cyrus can become a mainstream slut, but what he did seems against the typical grain.
An he was a serious psycho in Justified. And a serious killer in Red 2
Reminds me of a story at the University of Utah a few years ago. A female drama student refused to use the f-word on stage, so she was dropped from the program. I was surprised at how little sympathy she got from the faculty and her fellow students.
“The show had every right to fire him.”
Wouldn’t it depend on what was in his contract with the employer?
Haven’t seen Red 2(Or one, for that matter)
But I will take your word for it.
He is goood!
Here is her pic link
I can’t post the actual pic from my cell.

He also played a good guy: LT Buck Compton in Band of Brothers. A great performance.
Red is quite excellent. Red 2 was good, but not great.
Definitely.
Me too. I want her to endorse more though. Shes a boon for us. Lol.
I know that your question is a rhetorical one, but in any case...
...because Satan has a death-grip on Hollywood.
Cant remember what auto, but it was a high end one, I believe.
It was for the Cadillac ELR. The commercial drips with an over-the-top American Exceptionalism sentiment. Neal McDonough overlooking a pool asks,
"Why do you work so hard? For What? For This? For stuff? Other countries, they work, they stroll home, stop by the cafe, they take August off. OFF!"
"Why aren't we like that?" McDonough continues. "Because we're crazy driven hard working believers, that's why.... Were we nuts when we pointed to the moon? That's right. We went up there and you know what we got? Bored. So we left. Got a car up there. Left the keys in it. You know why? Because we are the only ones going back up there, that's why."
"Look. It's pretty simple. You work hard, you create your own luck and just gotta believe ANYTHING is possible. As for all the stuff. That's the upside to taking two weeks in off in August,"
It is AWESOME.
He was good in the remake of Walking Tall also.
Rock Hudson didn’t do any either. Hayes commission wouldn’t allow his type of scene in those days.
rwood
Bump
THAT IS SO COOL!!!!!
I remember it said SO MUCH good stuff and, at the time, we didn’t know his name. Had to look it up!
Thank you so much for giving me the name of the car AND THE WHOLE SCRIPT.
I’m gonna try to find the ad on YouTube.
Thanks again
