Beck laughed at some of those who were banned before him. What goes around...

Twitter. Facebook. Youtube. Their servers, like FR's, are their property to allow use of or not as they choose. The most that can be justly demanded of them is truth-in-labeling; if Twitter's going to ban ultrasound images, they should be required to say so clearly and up front.

Only the beginning. They are gearing up for the election, when it will be complete fascism, with Big Brother shutting down all non-approved thoughts.

First Amendment? Still think it applies?

First Amendment? Still think it applies?

Applies as it ever did - to the government. I don't have to allow anyone into my living room to speak their beliefs.

You don’t have to ban Beck to keep me from watching.

Glen Beck is a battered spouse. He always tries to appease his abusers by turning on other victims only to later find himself in the same boat.

Hmmm, telephone and long distance services, electric lines/power generation and distribution were all once private property. Yet, they became regulated as utilities. They’ve were also said to be exempt from anti-trust, that is until they weren’t.

Just saying, I wonder given YouTube’s market power if it isn’t time to start treating it differently.

I know, I know it’s not a free market solution but it is obvious to me that all this is going down now to silence any opposition for the 2020 election. We may have to use the left’s regulatory tools against it to persuade YouTube and the rest that censorship might not be the way to go.

By June of next year conservatives and Republicans will have no voice at all on any electronic platforms. I expect the Purge to take in independent web sites before then, too. The big banks seem to be on board with all this and will cooperate more and more in refusing to do business with people and organizations that do not have the correct outlook and presentation. We will be back to USPS direct mail which will be hindered and slowed and much of it will never arrive.

Scumbag in every regard.

In those cases, the physical disruption of laying multiple phone/power line grids was something we decided we wanted to avoid. No such physical disruption is required for new social media platforms.

The government should shut down these ISPs pending a review by relevant government agencies.

Any US government contracts with these companies should be terminated.

Not so. They socials have moved into politics and government.

Likely so but if they do they will also show everyone what they're doing.

It will become undeniably obvious they are censoring and banning conservatives.

It will backfire and rally the troops.
