Trump accusing Cruz of infidelity, etc...
Takes 67 votes to override a veto. Even if the Dems start out with 48 or 49 (with RINO defections), they need about 18 more Republican Senators. Name them. I bet you can’t. I don’t believe it. Pipe dreams from Liberal Media.
I hope coryn is due to leave out.
Observe, the name.....CRUZ. They never change their colors.
I pray so.
Both of these geniuses never even looked at their cards and theyre folding already.
A knee-jerk reaction to the very word “tariff”.
Tariffs are neither good nor bad, and until the introduction of a personal income tax levy by the ratification of the 16th Amendment, were the main source of revenue for the US Federal government.
The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 was an absolute disaster for the US, as it was considered to be merely punitive, and while it did not necessarily create the conditions that caused the Great Depression, it certainly exacerbated the effects, as both imports and exports fell precipitously between 1928 and 1932, in part because of retaliatory tariffs imposed by other countries. FDR used this is one of his wedge issues in gaining the Democrat majorities in Congress in 1931 and his own election in 1933, then the manner of setting tariffs was altered so the President had vast powers in determining and applying the duties and classes of product subject to tariffs.
Tariffs are no longer subject to treaties as such, and economically, they are analogous to the graphite control rods on an atomic reactor, used to slow down the rate of atomic reaction in the core of the atomic pile, and withdrawn to restore the activity of nuclear fission. The tariffs, as now visualized by the Trump administration, are a way of slowing or stopping a runaway imbalance in trade goods, or by withdrawal, restarting the trade on a more balanced level.
I wish a real American would primary the Great Cornholio.
Such a pretty dress, Mandy was obviously in love. Which is why she deleted her Twitter account even though it would have been easier to just not have the rubbers in the picture in the first place.
So what is Ted’s solution?
Cruz is as corrupt as the rest of them.
LOL. Carpenter was waiting for Teddy to arrive with a raincoat on the bed
right next to her leg.
I had a family member who was CFO of a huge national construction company. Couldn’t talk to him about this. He’d get visibly upset. Said the construction business in the US would fold if the couldn’t hire illegals. He claimed it’s nearly impossible to find Americans who will work without air conditioning.
Cruz,if you look up Green Acres and listen to Mr. Haney talk you’ll find a remarkable similarity.
Let’s all write Cruz and ask him to bring us a teddy bear.
Then tell us the right solution.
To hell with the tariffs. Send the military in and clean the whole nasty nest out.
