They said that all those people who had to spend many hours standing in line and more hours packed like sardines inside didn't mean that they would actually go out and vote for Trump. The talking heads convinced themselves that the crowds were just there to see the train wreck that was Donald Trump and that they would either stay home or vote for Clinton.
