Tuesday, CNN national security analyst James Clapper weighed in on President Donald Trump brushing off North Korea’s missile tests.

Clapper, a former National Intelligence director, said Tuesday on CNN’s “New Day” that Trump showed he “badly” wants a deal with North Korea, but is only encouraging Kim Jong-un to “stretch the envelope further” by showing his hand.

Answering to Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Oregon) during a meeting of the chamber's select committee on intelligence last March, Clapper claimed that the National Security Agency does “not wittingly” collect and store data on American people. When former contractor Edward Snowden proved him wrong through leaked NSA documents weeks later, though, Clapper was forced to take back his words. He later apologized to committee chairperson Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-California) for what he called a “clearly erroneous” remark, and insisted he gave simply the “least untruthful” answer he could give in an unclassified setting.

I can see why he’s “snake bit” as an example of his failing work was the Leap Day Deal” under his and Obama’s watch in 2012.

North Korea promised a moratorium on nuclear and long-range missile tests, and to open itself to new international inspections in exchange for assistance with food and nutrition monitoring for the NK people. Then on the following March 16, North Korea announced plans for a new satellite launch in April using ballistic missile technology the United States says is banned by United Nations sanctions thus violating the February 29 deal in less than 2 months. That technology was the MRV tracking system that was given to them by China after Clinton gave it to China in 1999. Clinton also gave NK the supercomputers to “cook” uranium U238 and also convert it to plutonium PU239 also used at weapons grade.

Clapper knows about this and is more than sure NK will lie just like they did in the past and violate the deals he helped broker after the dems supplied everything but the missiles to make the weapons. They came from Russia.
