Husein employed several such and one or two who had a least been open Communists. Roosevelt and Truman had many communists in their administrations who, though not open, were surely known to the President.

The problem was that the city got so much cleaner and safer that voters thought it would be OK to revert to their Dhimmicrap roots.

The first time, in 2013, the two Republican candidates, Joe Lhota and John Catsimatidis, were worthless. In 2017, the Republican-Conservative nominee was Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis from Staten Island. Unfortunately, Staten Island is the least populous borough and there effectively is no New York Republican Party.

New Yorkers and New York City folks don’t have a lot in common...outside the major cities it’s a lot of rural land and small town conservatives...I’d wager that NYC is the only metropolis in NY that De Blowhardio could win in...even though the larger cities always tend left-wing nutsoid.
