Well God bless you. Wish there were many more like you.

I hope you agree that a woman’s place IS in the home. It is the place God made her to be the happiest and where she is able to make those around her the happiest, especially her family.

Of course our true happiness is in knowing Jesus and making Him our dwelling and refuge.

Gee, I wasn’t aware that only jockeys become stewards.

Nonsense. Maximum Security made an egregious interference.

First veered directly into 2 horse and carried 3 wide, THEN veered back into the rail horse.

And again, it is not about affecting Country House, it is about affecting ANYone.

This was a good call. Not at all popular and unfortunate, but the right call.

Actually look to both the trainers. It wasn’t just Mott who stated so. Servis said he didn’t think it would be DQed, but when asked if this was a regular claimer race...he hedged completely and got sheepish. He knew it would be pulled as a claimer.

One of my brothers netted about 3K on a ticket for Country House to win.

You’re crazy. He prevented the #1 War of Will and the #18 Long Range Toddy from position in the stretch. I actually believe the #1 horse might’ve won the race.

I appreciate your continuing to bring out the truth. It was a definite interference, and the right call was made.

It starts at 1:54 half way around the corner with #1 making the move to get off the rail by bumping #18 out of position. Right after that, MS swerves out 4 lanes and back 3 lanes at the end of the corner. Country House stayed out of the mess. The guy in green moved up along the rail and benefitted from it all.

Looking at it again this morning, given that in the final stretch any nonsense was over and it was a flat out race which Maximum Security was clearly winning it's clear the disqualification is a travesty. Hope those involved are fired and never return to decision making power.

I agree if a woman has a family. She should be home with her children when those children are home.

By that logic any horse, other than the horses bumped, should have been disqualified if they had won.

According to the rules of racing:

4.15 Fouls: A leading horse, when clear, is entitled to any part of the track. If a leading horse or any other horse in a race swerves or is ridden to either side so as to interfere with or intimidate or impede any other horse or Jockey, it is a foul. If a Jockey strikes another horse or Jockey, it is a foul. If, in the opinion of the Stewards, a foul alters the finish of a race, any offending horse may be disqualified by the Stewards.

Clearly a foul was committed. Luckily the bumped jockey kept his cool or a terrible tragedy could have ensued.

Lengths?? No horse was hurt by lengths.. AFTER the foul, three horses were even... Maximum Security ran away from all of them.

The best horse was left walking in a circle while a pretender took the roses.

This was a travesty. And, a horrible blight on the sport.

It was the WRONG thing.

If you had seen the face of the fans leaving the cashier lines, you would understand. Fully 2/3rds of the people in line at Churchill quietly walked away in disgust.

This will irreparably damage this sport.

I totally agree. Those who can’t understand that are in the minority.

Nonsense. Most of those people couldn’t even see well what happened as it happened.

Just because you think a good horse SHOULD win over a poor horse, does not excuse the good one from a major foul.

NO LESS THAN MIKE WATCHMAKER FULLY AGREES WITH ME.

Look at it again. In fact, I didn’t realize how much he messed up, including BODEXPRESS.

He also bumped CODE OF HONOR (3rd) into the rail after “correcting”.

Stop complaining about “the better horse vs lesser”. That is not at all an issue. Plenty of high-odds horses have won and placed top races, regardless of their futures. Further, this was a horribly sloppy track, so there is no shock that a poor horse might do well with mud while “better” horses hate it.
