The first openly gay general at the Air Force Academy has been removed as commandant of cadets, but leaders there were mum Monday on the exact cause of the apparent firing.
Brig. Gen. Kristin Goodwin, who led military training at the academy since 2017, was removed from her role as commandant amid an investigation, the school confirmed Monday.

The AF Academy has led the political correctness charade of all the academies for years. It is a cesspool of leftist ideology and very similar in American hatred to most civilian universities.
I’ve met some perfectly fine female leaders. That said, there are both a lot fewer of them than men, and a disproportionate number of overly-aggressive women who are promoted into leadership positions without much in the way of actual leadership skills.
There is a strong tendency among women to shortcut or synthesize an appearance of leadership by emulating the worst of male ‘leaders’.

Indeed it is. But so was appointing an openly gay officer as commandant. Maybe that wasn't such a great move?!
Good for you. The point is that this kid I know should have been there. His seat was filled by a woman, a lesbian, a homo, someone with the right skin color, etc but slightly lower grades, an open homosexual, a wiccan, a marxist, etc.
This kid deserved a seat. And EEOC stole it.
