“I believe this would be declared unconstitutional!!!”

I don’t believe so. The constitution does not spell out HOW a state may allocate their electoral votes, only that they do so. It is therefor left up to the individual states to decide that proceedure for themselves.

The so called “compact” may have issues though.

Sorry, but no. Article 2, Section 1 states that "Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress".

In other words, if the Governor of Delaware signed a bill duly passed by the Legislature of Delaware, it's good. If they're stupid enough to ignore the results of their Presidential election in favor of being on the bandwagon, they are free to do it.

Remembering who their Senior Senator was until 2009, it doesn't seem a big stretch calling the people in charge a bunch of Northbound ends of a Southbound Clydesdale.

I'm not so sure. The Constitution gives the state legislatures the power to decide how a state's EV's are determined. And it appears the state legislature decided to go in on this.

"I believe this would be declared unconstitutional!!!"

Thank you for mentioning that ontap.

In stark contrast to the hypocritical Democratic “all votes count” mantra, and ballot box stuffing and the illegal votes of illegal aliens for Democratic candidates aside, power-mad Democrats seem to be clueless that when the states ratified the 12th Amendment the states gave up their power to give electoral votes to candidates who didn't win them.

Excerpted from the 12th Amendment: "The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice- President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate [emphasis added]; …"

Remember in November 2020!

MAGA!

‘I believe this would be declared unconstitutional!!!’

not likely...however, none of this would be an issue if the states would cease allocating their EV’s by a winner take all method; follow the leads of NE and ME...
