For two years late night comics told us President Donald Trump colluded with the Russian government to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton. They were wrong.

TV comedians will continue with their top 2 favorite jokes:

1) “Republicans sure are stupid”

2) “Trump sure is stupid”

These two jokes always bring down the house and they just never seem to get old.

The biggest losers are Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers in that order. Jimmy Fallon not so much, because I think Fallon was forced to be more political by his bosses at NBC.

“Late night comedy TV” is already dead. For example, I don’t know one person among my generation, or my children’s, who watches SNL

Yup.

Because their audience is so brilliant and sophisticated.

Looking stupid is a killer for stand-up comedy.

Once they start to become the butt of other people’s jokes, watch out.

Greg Gutfeld is in high cotton.

the loony left actually killed comedy years ago. It’s turned into an angry, bitter, freakshow. Which is really not much different than what they’ve managed to do to everything they get a hold of.

There is such venom in Colbert’s voice; it’s psychotic.

Two days ago, The Seattle Times ran an article about “patriotic Christians” (i.e., leftists posing as patriots) who had printed up cheap mini-comic books depicting Trump throwing various tantrums and boasting of his wealth. It was the lamest, most sophomoric humor you could imagine, but the Times reporter treated it as cutting-edge, comparing it to the so-called brilliance of Stephen Colbert.

Political comedy isn’t endangered by the no collusion, that’d be comedy gold for actual comedians.

What’s endangering political comedy is the current crop of no talent, hate spewing hacks posing as political comedians.

Playground bullies with a sixth grader sensibility. Maybe they can go back to oggling girls in skirts on trampolines as at least one of these young punk hosts used to do on national television.

Civilized behavior between our two sides is pretty much over, including political comedy.

You saw that a LONG time ago when he did The Colbert Report for Comedy Central.

Interestingly, Jon Stewart left late-night comedy literally in the nick of time.

If I were Trump, I would right now send a case of oranges to each of the late night talk show hosts. :-)
