It’s a great springtime “woohoo”. And the past few days would have been great for kite flying. Today was a lot calmer, thank goodness. It felt so nice outside this afternoon.
Awesome that you could get out. You must have felt like a bear being let out of its cave. LOL!
It was pretty here, too, especially this morning. I really enjoyed being outside while feeding the kittehs.
I wasn’t out all that long. Just had to run an errand, and I walked around the yard checking out some of the flowers when I got home.
I spent a lot of time this afternoon watching our darling li’l eaglets, as I’m doing now. :-)
I’m in the process of going through the nests, too. I keep forgetting that Hanover has some...babies or eggs. I was so relieved that Liberty was back there! Shouldn’t be long and the DC nests will be laying. Not sure why they are always so late.
Well, then. LOL! Are you the giver or the taker? Curious people want to know!
Hanover has eggs and I believe they were laid around the same time as Decorah’s. We have a little while yet for the bobbleheads.
There were already two eggs laid but they were deserted after Liberty disappeared. I don’t expect more this year.
I’m hoping MN will have eggs this year. They’re running late because of all the snow they’ve had this winter but they’re working on the nest now that it’s clear.
The babies at West End seem to get along pretty well...so far. That third one might have h*** to pay, though, poor baby! :)
They’re getting on VERY well so far. I haven’t seen the first bonk today. We’ll see how it goes when the third one hatches but I have a feeling these parents will have everything under control.
Those parents do seem to be very organized. :)
Yes, they do seem organized. I wasn’t sure what to expect since they only had the one last year.
They have an epic nest bowl! Raimis and Milda could sure take lessons from them. LOL!
Hi Luv.
Sez here this week that I am Maxwell Smart’s brother Word.
You Are Word Smart
You have a way with words, and you seem to just phrase things beautifully and effortlessly.
You can talk and write your way into practically anything. People are enchanted by the words you choose.
You are probably a bit of a word nerd
at heart. Word games and crossword puzzles delight you.
You are the type of person who benefits from talking things out. You often say something before you truly think it.
Their nest is built on a big rock. Of course it’s epic. LOL
Raimis’s and Milda’s nest is on a funky tree limb, not well-supported on the left side. I worry it’ll collapse since it’s already sagging a little.
Well, no crap. I am music smart.
Howdy, Mayor! (((hugs)))
Great to see you tonight! Thanks for our beautiful lesson from God’s Word.
Boy! Did that quiz ever peg you having “a way with words!” LOL!
Imagine that, Sax Man! LOL!
I love their nest site, and the grasses they built up to keep the babies in is amazingly high.
Every time I look in on Milda, I hold my breath. But she does seem to have at least built up the edges of the bowl so the eggs won’t just roll out. I hope it works!
You Are Nature Smart
You may not even consider yourself to be traditionally smart, but you understand this world better than most people.
You are the type of person who experiences learning by doing. You love to study the natural world around you.
You probably take care of plants and animals with ease. You intuitively sense what they need most.
You enjoy hands on science, especially when experiments are involved. You need to find out everything for yourself.
