A dark day for the Democrats, surely. A dark day for Minnesota too, for that matter, and maybe for the US. But does Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) pattern of anti-Semitic speech — getting firmly established in her first two months on the job — represent “a dark day for Israel,” as Donald Trump declared on Twitter overnight?
Maybe only if Nancy Pelosi keeps Omar on the one House panel that might impact US policy toward its best ally in the Middle East:

My friends this is a teachable moment. There are a lot of people in this world that agree with her. We don’t often hear it within this country. Even Jewish Americans talk of Palestinians as victims without mentioning Israel. To them it’s the US at fault. We cannot squish her like a bug or condone it. I say it’s a Democrat problem and we should stay out. Ok it’s how Hitler got started. We are not post WWI Germany. It was a nation of adolescents who shaw him as a father. We’re not there and we won’t be.
And my fellow Jews are and will continue to vote for Dems. That is the Dark day that never ends.
Obama made anti Zionism an acceptable tenet for Democrats in good party standing. The Democrats will pass a resolution but will do nothing to truly curtail Ilhan Omar and her ilk.

I think they are PUSHING the story to be told or it would be buried.
She insulted the wrong people and overstepped her bounds way too quickly.
The left moves steadily and usually with stealth to further its agenda, like it has for 50 years, to great success.
Getting rid of all fossil fuel usage in 10 years isn’t steady nor is it stealthy!

I think she hates Jews because she cannot help but notice what the Jewish people have done with Israel and she looks at her armpit country and what her compatriots have done to it.

And Palestinian use to be a term to describe the JEWS that remained in Palestine. The Arabs always referred to themselves as Syrians.
