The current Generals have said exactly that. They judge the wall to be more important than any of the things that will be delayed by building the wall.
Does this mean that all those rocks around Officer’s housing won’t get painted?
Funny how the same people that always expressed a wish to cut the defense budget severely before even considering a single welfare program, all of a sudden CARES about “military projects”.
And when they send this bill to the President to veto, he should rescind all “National Emergencies” put in place by slick willie and bath house barry, then watch them scream

The proper way to do something like this is to hire someone to send pallets of cash to another party so they can pay for it.

As a retired Army Officer, I find this new found Democrat concern for the military very touching. Heartwarming indeed.
Not too obvious what they are manipulating numbers for.
If it wasn't for Trump using some of those funds to build the wall, they would be whining that we need to cut back on military spending to pay for all kinds of socialist programs, just like they have since the 60s.
The democrats gutted the military under Obama and now they claim the little $3.6 billion diverted for the wall will cripple the nation’s defenses?
The upcoming vote on the emergency declaration is great. It will forever put the open border politician, both Republican and democrat, on the record and make it much easier to primary their sorry asses.
Right - every nation depends on it’s military to protect it from foreign dangers. There is nothing more important than the borders.

Better to build a wall here than in some third world muslim country. The wall is a part of our national security.
Trump is the ONLY THING/PERSON that could get the Dems to ‘care’ about our Military.
