I'm willing to bet that it can be shown that press was a KNOWING recipient of that video from them... and ... that malice can be shown.
With demonstratable hate through out the press and the entire left wing ... that should be provable. That could make the press liable, as well. Malice is the press's weak link.
He will win for Sandmann. No doubt about it.
I thought Nick Sandmann acquitted himself very well, both in the initial encounter with the phony Phillips and then under the insulting questioning of Savannah Guthrie. He seems to be very mature for a 16 year old. Bravo! I hope his lawyer holds all those who slandered him to account!

Young Mr. Sandmann is lucky. Usually people in libel suits only have a few hear-witnesses/eye witnesses to libel, defamation and slander. He has hundreds of his schoolmates, everyone who took videos of the Indian and Black racist attacks, and much of the U.S. population (i.e., his jury).
I know what he is going to go through initially. I had a neo-Nazi threaten to sue me over an article I did, quoting him on some things he said. When he told my editor, with whom I was sitting in the office, that he was going to sue me and the paper, my editor took my tape(recording) of him at the press conference and tapped it on the phone, and said, “Do you want to hear the tape recording of your talk”?
CLICK!!! Never heard from him again.
Another far-left, pro-terrorism lawyer threatened to sue me over an article I had written about him (from printed sources). I said, he’s my card, call me. CRICKETS because he was smart enough to know that I was quoting from his FBI file which he definitely did not want entered into evidence at any open trial.
Sometimes the good guys can win. It’s all in how you play the game - on your terms and with a junkyard lawyer (and they are hard to find).
Good luck Covington guys. First take out Chief Fake Vietnam Veteran, then Savannah Guthrie (who would name their daughter after an ecological piece of land in Africa), and the person who gave the media the clipped video film.
Looks like Covington Kentucky is going to get some good walking around money for all its citizens.
