Thjis in no way argues AGAINST the construction of a border barrier. If anything, it emphasized the need for both making the barrier more effective, AND for the other three factors to develop a strong national border, which are, the installation of monitoring devices which are actually BEING monitored, the deployment of squads of border patrol officers to make regular personal inspections of the fencing and report possible attempts at a breach, and finally the dispatch of armed and ready Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to capture and detain those who do manage to breach the wall in some manner.

There is a right way and a wrong way to gain access to the interior of the United States.

Fully agree that we have to do whatever it takes to make sure they cannot enter.
Once in, they are released and here forever awaiting the amnesty that the Bush League Republicans we keep voting can’t wait to give them.

Exactly- see my previous post- yes, a few will defeat the wall- however, the VAST MAJORITY of illegals will still be stopped by the wall- and we will save hundreds of billions every single year despite a few defeating the wall
