18 month old Richie needs your prayers

Prayer Warriors have seen this but we need everyone to offer prayers for Richie.

Picture a few months old but the only one I have available.

First a little history .... The last week of November, Richie received several vaccines which included the flu vaccine.

On December 2nd, he was hospitalized with paralysis of his arms and legs. He was put on a respirator and the outlook was bleak. I posted a note on FB asking for prayers from family and friends.

Richie is the grandson of a cousin who is more like a little brother than a cousin.

Praying hard for Brian.

Have they tried melatonin to help him get his sleep
Schedule better?

What about making sure he is outside in sunshine for 2-3 hours before noon?

Is there covered respite care for Richie. If so, have it be in the night so brain can sleep.

Richie is growing so fast. These pictures were taken when he was on his way to a doctor appt.

There is not a lot of news to share but I will give you what I have.

He has been having horrible spasms in his legs.
They say it is neurological. They are trying a new medication and it seems to be helping.
They may try a medication to help him sleep at night.

He still enjoys his IPad with his favorite cartoons playing.

Richie is still not sleeping at night. I told Brian that he just wants his Daddy all to himself
and this happens when they are the only two awake.
