FULL TITLE: Comey’s FBI knew “Steele dossier” was BOGUS before using it to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on Team Trump

(National Sentinel) Corrupt: POTUS Donald Trump will nominate William Barr, an old Washington hand, to replace Jeff Sessions as attorney general, reports confirmed on Friday.

Politicos may remember that name: Barr served as AG under President George H. W. Bush, who died earlier this week.

If true, and Barr is seriously under consideration, some may view this choice as POTUS Trump giving in to the swamp. But it could be that the president wants Barr because he needs an experienced hand at the helm of a Justice Department that is in serious need of reform.

That became apparent again this week following a report from The Hill’s John Solomon, in which he dropped news bombshells regarding suspicions that James Comey’s FBI misrepresented a key document in the bureau’s pursuit of a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court enabling agents to spy on an American citizen tied to the 2016 Trump campaign, Carter Page:

Just before Thanksgiving, House Republicans amended the list of documents they’d like President Trump to declassify in the Russia investigation. With little fanfare or explanation, the lawmakers, led by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), added a string of emails between the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to their wish list.

Sources tell me the targeted documents may provide the most damning evidence to date of potential abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), evidence that has been kept from the majority of members of Congress for more than two years.

Well then, James Comey should have been in prison long ago.

The taxpayer money being wasted is of no concern to the public. Muddy the waters to the point where you don’t know who to believe. They got it down. Pretty smart.

The coup underway is of no concern to the public.

They just take whatever the liberal main-stream media feeds them as gospel.

Oooooh, Kardashians!!

I don’t understand why Trump won’t declassify/release this stuff.

"I don’t understand why Trump won’t declassify/release this stuff."

1. He's learning the political game.
2. He's holding his ace in the hole to be played when needed and most effective.

People here and elsewhere forget he wrote the book, "The Art of the Deal". Everyone raved about it, but tend to forget that with all the daily political crap. Trump could have fired Mueller long with his authority. He knows better to play it out.

While he is in-articulate and I don't like his constant Tweeting, he is much smarter that most give him. There is a reason he is a billionaire even after bankruptcy. You don't do that without immense capabilities and knowing how to work a system. Standby...

The term “too big to fail” seems appropriate concerning the release of certain documents that would implicate numerous big players in Washington. You can’t really have just a single player go down, because they were all working together. The possibility of a large flood of indictments and prosecutions is inconceivable to both sides in Washington. They probably hide behind the excuse that the public wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Part of the public will support Comey, part will not, and both of them are sure whom to believe. But the money? That's so true, what's money?

Ii think he is waiting until after the IG report. The last IG report, Horowitz was a little wishy washy in his conclusions. Now he has to be totally above board and honest. He knows that Trump will declassify the docs an dif his report doesn't mention pertinent facts or is in contradiction to what is in the documents, he will be made to look totally partisan.

Those agencies like to think their gods. Indispensable, in their own minds. They will not be missed.

Yea, I get all that... I still don't understand what's going on. I assume/hope Trump does... he's made it this far, which is incredibly impressive... and I have to assume he's learned a heck of a lot in the last 2 years.

It will be interesting when it all comes to a boil. In the meantime, I'm still curious as to what's going on.

What it is all about is saving the reputation of Obama, DOJ and FBI. With Mueller getting a few scalps, TPTB can say the SC was justified as well as spying on the Trump campaign.

He is holding an ace up his sleeve...and he is giving intel folks time to protect any assets that might actually be harmed....if declassification causes them issues, it will be 100% their own fault.

For the last two years, we had a GOP House and a GOP Senate in Congress. We also had a GOP Executive. WHAT DID WE DO FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS, OTHER THAN ENDLESS HEARINGS??

Looks like an effort to give an appearance of doing something for those bitter clingers.

Before Republicans lost control of the House, back when we still hoped for a gain of six or more in the Senate, and before the Democrats irretrievably poisoned Trump's entire presidency, would have been a good time to play the ace in the hole.
