She’s going to learn some really hard lessons, come early January. While she isn’t my Representative, I may have voted for her just for the hell of it. She’s going to do some wonderful things as a member of Congress.

She’s a liberal, socialist hipster that doesn’t take NO for an answer. She starts yelling louder and louder until she gets her way. And that may have been what’s gotten her through all these years, but now she’s in the big leagues. I bet her dad is as happy as anyone on the planet that she’s gone. Can’t imagine what that man went thru all these years dealing with her.
I do have a question though. I read that she was a bartender, working and living in NYC. She is reported to have about $50k in the bank when she started her campaign and ended up getting paid by her campaign(which is normal) toward the end because she had depleted her savings. From some of her photos op’s, she certainly isn’t shy about spending money on clothes, unless they were loaned to her.
So, given how expensive it is to live in the city, the clothes she wears, the lifestyle she lived, the Movado watch she wears, how much money was she making as a bartender? What did all her monthly bills add up to(rent, utilities, clothes, cell phone)? Did she live with a Sugar Daddy that paid for everything?
Was she paying the appropriate taxes on her tips and income from her bartending gig?
Actually we’ll be paying her interns $15 an hour. Freaking liberals always giving the shirt off of someone else’s back. So big of her.
Personally, about time. When I went to DC as a poor grad student, veteran but wrong time for GI Bill, no rich mommy and daddy, it irked me that these positions around DC were all basically minimum wage or no pay. The only people that can do them are backed up by rich parents.
I assume it’ll come out of her offices budget. Once she finds that out I am sure she will change her tune.
She’s not ‘paying’ anyone anything, she’s redistributing taxpayer money.
