“I hate commies, socialists, leftist, and so-called progressives.”
I attended the funeral of a good friend this week who was a socialist-leftist, and Catholic. I don’t know much about Catholics, but from all I’ve gathered through 70 years, I’d have to say her church is into some new-age crap. There were “why can’t we all just get along” type posters all over the church. Including Muslims was there. During the message / homily / whatever, priest kept saying they want unity among all — as long as “all” meant becoming Catholic. (I don’t think that’s normal ... is it?)
But I digress... Her husband who remains is a Bernie-voting, gun- and GOP-hating socialist. Everybody needs to get all the free sh!t they want compliments of the taxpayer. The wealthy need to take care of the others. THEY have a nice house on the lake and a home in Florida, several cars, boats, too many man toys to count, tons of savings, etc. BUT - it’s interesting to note that when the property tax notices came out, he was the first one on our street beating cheeks down to the Assessor’s Office, and first on the list for Board Of Equalization hearings to lower HIS taxes.
Since the minute the funeral ended, he basically told us to back off. We believe it’s because we’re conservatives. This in spite of the fact that we were the only ones there for the family while his wife was sick and dying, and for years before that. I hate these people.
First of all did anyone even read the name of the article???? Fake news it talks about water cannons used near the US Border BS its in reality a story about Cubans good god read before you respond its a fake news gazette....
This goes to my point that Leftists are ultimately selfish in their motivations. It is a type of pathological selfishness. If it means oppressing and demonizing the opposition, that’s what they do. Principles and even handed ness get in the way of their getting what they want.
