Harvard Law Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz said Thursday that Michael Cohen's new guilty plea is another example of crimes being created as a result of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. Cohen, President Donald Trump's former lawyer, made a second plea agreement with federal prosecutors in New York, reportedly admitting to lying to Congress in 2017 about a Trump real estate deal in Russia.

This nonsense joke of an investigation has cost the Taxpayers way too much, and it’s gone on way too long to have any creditability at all.
This is all about a date....and it’s a big nothing about the possibility of building a Trump Tower in Russia....which not only never happened....it never even got past the speculation phase. No site was picked...no drawings...no nothing.
Mueller’ a thug - and so is his merry band of Hillary supporters.

Of all the people Herr Mueller has targeted in his witch hunt - I have the least feeling for Cohen. He betrayed the President.
But since that is so - he set himself up as a prime target.
At least Mueller is an equal opportunity scumwad. He’s targeting both friends and enemies of the president.

Agree. Mueller has worked both sides of the fence for big government and they get paid by us plus Gov /DOD contractors like Boeing and Booz, Hamilton, Alexander, etc. Ask any DOD contractor of the headaches and false contract bid protests that both proclaim/go through with if they lose an initial bid/contract. Mueller has worked for both plus the Gov. He wants to protect the “SWAMP.”
It would be interesting if William Kunstler were alive what his opinion would be on the Mueller investigation. Like Dershowitz he was a big time liberal. However, like Dershowitz I always considered him to be someone who was a man of principle not some political hack. I tend to think he would have been standing right with Dershowitz in this.

I think it’s possible Mueller has sprung a perjury trap on Trump.
He slipped in a question about this Russia deal date, knowing Cohen would change his testimony. Trump answered in line with Cohen’s previous testimony. After he gets Trump’s answer, he brings Cohen in to change his testimony. Now Trump is caught in perjury trap.
