The federal governments Fourth National Climate Assessment, released on Friday, has gained praise from leftists and left-wing environmental groups as a dire warning of the coming death and destruction in the United States if we dont stop global warming.
But critics of the report, including scientists, have slammed it as exaggeration, bad science and even said its conclusions are false.
This latest climate report is just more of the same except for even greater exaggeration, worse science, and added interference in the political process by unelected, self-serving bureaucrats, Tim Huelskamp, president of the Heartland Institute said in statements released by the free-market think tank following the reports release.
With a new volume out in December, The Heartland Institute has published 4,000 pages of the Climate Change Reconsidered series by the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC), Huelskamp said. Those reports cite many hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific papers that show how every conclusion of this latest government report [is] false.
This report from the climate alarmist Deep State in our government is even more hysterical than some United Nations reports, Huelskamp noted. The idea that global temperatures could rise as much as 12 degrees in the next 80 years is absurd and not a shred of actual data and observation supports that.
This report is a scientific embarrassment, Jay Lehr, science director at the Heartland Institute, said. Not only does it rely on computer models to predict the climate through the end of the century, it relies on computer models from five years ago that have been laughably wrong, failing to get even close to reality since 2013.

This all started when that A-hole Algore got the feds to declare “Global Warming” to be “settled science”. That is that tool’s legacy. It’s impossible to dislodge it from the federal system like a fungus. IMO.
4.5 watts is not allot of power unless it is attached to unit area and unit time.
which in this case it is ... Earths surface/per day/hour. Take it up with Zarkova et al - I’m just a messenger here.
How many times has this boy wrongly cried wolf now? Fifty? One hundred?
Where in the Constitution is the power to spend billions studying “the climate” enumerated?
Looked it up, it was per square meter. By definition watts are per second. Now it makes sense.
See - a little work by every body makes the world go around ...
The Federal government is the fungus. Counter productive in everything it does. War on poverty causes more poverty. War on drugs causes more drugs. War on climate change causes more climate change. You would think after the last century people would wake up and realize government is the problem not the solution. Hat tip President Reagan.
No, meaningless in any context. Perhaps it’s too complicated to grasp that different units of measurement are used for measuring different things, or that temperature is not the same as energy. If so, I apologize for wasting your time.
Always reported as square meters. Scientist and engineers know thar and we kinda just looked past that error.
Actually that points out one of the many significant errors humans have made on this subject. We are comparing current temperatures to past heat indexes. Climate science could not have made a bigger error in my opinion.
I see you never watched the videos in the original article so of course you are confused.
No, I didn’t watch the videos. If the videos state that temperature is measured in watts, the videos are wrong. You can attempt to learn something, or you can continue to display your ignorance. I don’t really care which.
In other words, where is the Greenhouse Effect when we really need it?
I guess we need to figure out how to lower Earth’s albedo.
There is no mention of temperature being measured by watts that seems to be your contribution. I never said that and no one else has either. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Can you not read your own comment #2? I quoted from it in my comment #5. Once again, in your own words:
...lower the Earths surface temperature by 4.5 watts...
Sorry for your misunderstanding.
You wrote what you wrote. Trying to parse and weasel does not change that. Even now, you’re failing to distinguish between watts and watts per square meter.
take a leap.
You lose.
Yep trolls win again ...
