MEXICO CITY Mexico's incoming government denied a report Saturday that it plans to allow asylum-seekers to wait in the country while their claims move through U.S. immigration courts, a deal the Trump administration has been pursuing for months.
"There is no agreement of any sort between the incoming Mexican government and the U.S. government," future Interior Minister Olga Sanchez said in a statement.

You let them in. They’re your problem.
Bingo!
CLOSE THE BORDER!
Then send the bitches home.
Plan B then: Shut down the border completely. Slow walk asylum applications - maybe 10 per day. Stop all foreign aid to Mexico. Tax money transfers from the US to Mexico at 50%. Wait for that pain to kick in and watch Mexico start rounding up the invaders.
Just close the border. Business interests. Will Mexico pay for the flights to send them back? If they refuse to go just tell them the flight is to the US.
Latinos say Bezos prints Fake News.
So the Washington post gets another story wrong. Fake News.
OK, so that complete contradiction happened...
Shut off Western Union and other ways of sending cash in New Mexico that will stop it in his tracks.
I dont think the socialist president of Mexico understands. Pres. Trump is making him an offer he cant refuse.
No ‘deal’ is required. THEY let the caravan in their southern border. The US government has neither the legal right nor the ability to stop that. Obviously, that doesn’t create an obligation in the US to let them in.
Mexico’s incoming government says it does not plan to assume the role of “safe third country” for migrants seeking asylum in the U.S...
“safe third country” is one where ‘refugees’ (cough-cough) are welcome.
Mexico certainly doesn’t want that!
They’re not welcome but keeping them in Mexico will help get them to quit coming. To us or to Mexico.
He’s a commie not a socialist.
Hmmm... Looks like my first assumption was correct...
Fooled me.
I suspect there is in fact some agreement
The stakes are too high
A one-way flight, for everybody to Anchorage. Process ALL asylum claims in that location. Hold the hearings there as well. Walk from there, b!tches.
Send them all to gitmo. If they want to leave they can walk into Cuba.DNA test all adults who claim that child next to them is actually their child before they are allowed contact with the minor in question.
“I suspect there is in fact some agreement.”
There may be. Or maybe was, then the sh!t hit the fan after she said there was agreement. If I’m not mistaken the incoming Mexican Interior Minister is the source of both stories. I get the impression she’s changing horses in mid-stream. Maybe her earlier citation reported by WaPo received negative feedback.
