Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell called for the confiscation of semi-automatic rifles in a USA Today oped on Friday. Swalwell wants taxpayers to foot the bill using 15 billion of taxpayer dollars to do it.

This is just a precursor for the eventual move to confiscate ALL guns.

Well apparently he’s a reflection of his constituents.
So in Swalwell’s mind,it would be “legitimate” to carve out AR-15’s (and a host of other semi-automatic, auto loading rifles) from the Second Amendment without formally re-writing the Second Amendment and ratifying same, criminalize those who resist unconstitutional confiscation and then “legitimately” nuke them. Breathtakingly astonishing and the essence of why the Second Amendmeht was established by the founders.
That would amount to a big ol' second shot heard 'round the world. AR II, Civil War II, whatever you want to call it, commences the second they move. Every red blooded American needs to plan to not be at home if the fascists attempt this, but rather be at the homes of those who sent agents to terrorize the People and the mediots who cheered it on.
BRING IT. If Demonrats want blood to run in the streets, this is the way to get it. And the blood will be THEIRS.

That man is one dangerous critter. I get the same reaction when I see his face or hear his voice that I do when I see/hear Kamala Harris. Even if the two of them didn’t say a word, they would still be offensive just from the expressions on their faces. In fact, I think Harris’s is a perpetual scowl. The two of them no doubt will run as a pair in 2020 for president!
Swalwell doesn’t know what he is talking about when he claims to only ban “Semi-Automatic Weapons” Many hunting rifles and a slew of pistols would fall under this ban.
His stupidity is unlimited as he thinks this would only limit this this to the “evil” AR-15 rifle platform
But being ignorant never stopped a democrat from enacting legislation on a topic they knew nothing about. See Diane Feinstein and the previous gun ban.

Where I live there are lots of farms and open fields. Tractors plow those fields under every year. Be a shame for those that want to confiscate weapons happen to get caught in those tractors nuts.

Once Trump is out of office — look out.
They won’t go door to door rounding up guns. Heck no. They are too smart and sneaky for that. They will regulate them, tax them, buy-them back and outlaw them. They will make gun owners’ lives miserable.
They will not spend the money and time to round up guns. No, they are above that.
They will have decent people bring the guns to THEM.
