So, one of her great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandparents was an Indian?
Well no wonder she’s been claiming and collecting Indian benefits all her life!
So how many years ago was that Indian in her genealogy?
Maybe she can get back benefits to that time.
6-10 Generations at 40 years each = 240 to 400 years.
1618 to 1778???
If we weren’t a country yet, she should be paying us benefits.
Actually, it could have been fewer greats. As few as 3 greats. Basically 2 to the 6th power which is 1/64th. Some programs provide benefits up to the 1/32nd level which my sons are actually eligible for, but not their children who are 1/64th.
